Had the back hatch lock cylinder go out on my '89 bird, no place has it in stock around here ,and i cant get it from a junkyard because i cant get a key with it, if anyone has one they would be wiling to part with feel free to send me a PM with price

Thomas is yours for the standard hatch or for the one with the motorized lock for the hatch, I've heard they are different cylinders.... My firebird doesn't have that feature, so i would need the standard cylinder

All F-body cars from 1986 to 1992 came with a Rear Hatch Pull Down unless someone changed it back to the old style. Is there a cable hooked to your lock assembly or is there a straight piece of linkage that goes into your mechanism?

Respectfully disagree with you on that. We had two this summer we parted that were 88's that did not have a draw down.
