Goodyear Eagle GA 235/55 R16
Need one in good or decent shape for an original 92 Camaro.
Goodyear Eagle GA came on 91 and 92 Camaros when optioned with the F41 package which also included 16 inch Z28 wheels. Not sure what other years they used them on.
One of mine had a valve stem go bad which caused a flat which caused a sidewall bulge which caused a leak

Yes. I bought the same tires they came with from the factory but they have been discontinued now for many years. Unfortunately one of mine is bad now so I am trying to find another.
Goodyear Eagle GA 235/55 R16 is what they are.
Or I am trying to find a new tire that looks similar so it won't stand out too bad from the other 3 on the car

Re: Goodyear Eagle GA 235/55 R16
I know the Goodyear Eagle GA 235/55 R16 was available on the 4th gen cars. It was actually the base all season tire I believe, and it was speed limited to 110-115 or thereabouts. If you opted for the Z rated tires, then you got the higher mph speedometer and limit. I however am unaware if the 3rd gens were produced in this same fashion. My 88 was a 305 TPI with the 120 mph speedometer but it had 245/50/16’s on it when I got it. I’m guessing that was the only size then?

Re: Goodyear Eagle GA 235/55 R16
Thank you. Yes the Gatorbacks were on the Z28 if it had the L98 and maybe certain versions that came with the 5.0 TPI (I don't remember now).. But the RS got 235/55 vs the 245/50 Gatorbacks you mentioned that the Z28 got.
And the RS got 15 inch wheels unless it had the F41 suspension option and 5.0 TBI which then got it the 16X8 wheels and the 235/55 Eagle GA that I am looking for.
Yeah I remember my friend's 95 Camaro having those tires when he bought it new also. Someone probably has one stored somewhere but finding them is the hard part and since everything gets worse with time they may be in bad shape. I had forgotten that until you mentioned it so I may check on a 4th gen site also.
I used to take photos and video of the 3rd gens when they were new on the lot. When I got my 92 it still had the factory warranty and original tires so I bought the same tires every time since. And the correct ignition wires, which I still haven't used

Re: Goodyear Eagle GA 235/55 R16
That’s what my knowledge of them is. A friend had them on a 94 Z28 that were original. I scored his fronts when he replaced them and ran them for a while. It was a nice car. Six speed, T-tops, and that grey/purple color. Quick car too but damn shame whoever ordered it got the all season tires and 110 mph speedometer
