91 Trans Am front ground effects

I tried posting this about 2-3 weeks ago and I am looking for both right and left front ground effect frames. I did not have a picture at that time but now I do. Mine have separated from the frame that holds their shape at the nose end and I would like to replace them. Sorry, but I do not know the GM part numbers but you can see where they have been cracked. The bolts are still there but are holding nothing. Anybody have some used ones in good shape?

What you are referring to as a frame...isn't that part of the ground effect? The ground effect sits on top of the bumper and then those bolts go through both the bumper and ground effect. I haven't looked at a factory original car so maybe I'm missing something too. Mine mount and bolt up fine though.

Yes, Charcoalbird, mine mount up from the bottom as well. Note the bolts that are still in the frame in my pictures. I am trying to locate and buy both sides that have broken off over 32 years and a few curb incidents by my daughters. Anyone wanting to sell me a pair PM me and let me know your price including shipping to Destin, FL. Thanks,

Those must be the reproduction pieces.

It'll be hard to find a factory original set. I just purchased a pair off of ebay which I got lucky a friend notified me minutes after they were posted. We haven't seen a set on ebay in over a year.

yeah, mine are reproduction.

I could probably save the ones pictured with my plastic welder and some metal mesh.

Re: 91 Trans Am front ground effects

I found a set at Hawks. Pricey but complete reproductions. At least they will prevent me having to create something from the cracked and broken ones I have now. Thanks for trying to help me.
