Cut a hard top off of a junker. Fab a flat window area with foam and fiberglass. Wax, apply release, and use it for a plug to make a mold :-) Oh, you said small!

How about making a cold air tube and fabbing an isolation box for the inlet? Or you can make a cold air tube from glass? How about making a fiberglass console lid or console top with custom gage pod or switches. How about custom kick panels? Custom overhead console? Tach pod like autometer's for mustangs? Fiberglass deck lid? Custom radio pod so you can put in 2 double DIN units or let one of the slots serve as a switch panel or gage display area. Just ideas...

eeh, im putting a eaton on mine and will already have a cold air intake... if im ambitous, i might try to weld several sections of 4"pipe and grind the welds down... after powdercoating, it'll look like Kandys does...

naa, i like my lid and top... but you're thinkin.... i suppose i could make a tiny panel to fit between the gauges part of the dash and the AC vents hanging under the dash... then i could hide a switch in that resessed area... i never did get the kickpanel thing... i mean, neat and all, but im not too big into audio.

key thing here is ,i want the inital impression of everyone looking at my car to be that its stock. i dont want it to look custom.or race. that means no 4" tach, no custom console, ect...

tach pod doesnt fit stock theme, deck lid is too big, i dont have enough stuff to do one... radio pod/switch/gauge panel doesnt look stock......

great ideas... but can you think of somthing else?

im starting to consider getting more fiberglass mat and making a sub box... right now, i have a generic 10" sub box in the trunk... nothing fancy, it just sounds better then stock... i suppose i could try to make a panel so that the sub is part of the panel that goes where the spare tire is........ i donno.. i was thinking of doing somthing smaller though..

something small .....hmmmm....how about a new cd holder or tape holder which ever you need ...to fit into the console uder the lid so its hidden...that would be cool...or maybe a small plaque you could mount in the car with a pic of your ride polyurathaned on it for display puposes...sounds kinda goofy but they look cool ........
