hard top to convertible

i know that this sounds stupid but im bored and im very creative, im thinking about taking my beater hatchback civic and cutting the roof off, (dont laugh) i want to make it removable, im gonna cut the b-pillars and c-pillars then im gonna cut the roof along the windshield just behind the support, im gonna cut the doorwindow frame off and weld it to the roof so it too comes off with the roof, tell me what you guys think

PS dont make this into a bashing of civics, cause yes i think they are stupid too, im just looking for helpful tips or anything

PS2 i have a 10 pt cage im puttin into it too so the weakness of the frame will be taken care of

Here's an idea. Save yourself the trouble, find the nearest Army training facility and ask them to use the thing for live grenade practice. Tell them it'll bring tham back to the patty days.

And if you were serious, then you are as bright as you allege the car to be. Hell you bought a ten point cage for it! Go look at a convertable before you decide to start hacking a bloody car up, a cage isn't going to solve all the problems.
