has anyone here ever made a monoblade throttle?

im thinking about making one out of a extra one i have hanging around.. basicly just cut out everything in the middle.. smooth it all out (epoxy/techno weld if needed) and cut a new large oval throttlebody....

has anyone here done that?

I believe I have seen pics of someones monoblade setup here on tgo. They flow 1350cfm's. A company here in AZ makes them. They are very expensive. If you have the motor and setup to use one then go ahead and do it. Otherwise its just overkill.

I made my own in 2 days ( with a extra trottle body) took it apart and dropped it off at a machine shop, told them to bore it to twin 52 mm and cut the center out ....I made my own blade out of sheet aluminum stock with a hacksaw and a hand file...I had to make a few to get the hang of it I also had to file the center of the shaft flat ....

I picked up some epoxy from a parts store and filled in the holes then sanded it smooth.. i put the t-body back together bolted it on my car set the tps then drove home from work (45 mins) its been on since 92

did you have to mod your intake manifold for this or did you just buy an aftermarket one? not moding the intake manifold would just make it a waste of time am i right?

Can you post a picture of it with the throttle blade both open and closed.
