boring the intake
whats the best way to bore out and port match the plenum/runners/base?
i bought a intake base that is ported to afr heads, and i want to clean it up some but never done this before. and i might as well match it to my runners and plenum huh?

I use a die grinder with a carbide tip. Pretty much use the felpro gasket as a guide I usually mark it out the extra material then go back and scribe it in with a sharp edge. Then I know how far to take out exactly.
Try not to get to carried away with the passages near the center of the intake. If you try to straighten the passage out to much there then you'll go through the wall. But you can take a lot of material out, I did make the mistake of going to far once.
