Custom Firebird Tail Light Center
Here's my custom tail light center. I had one where the paint was peeling so I removed the old paint. Then applied the lettering and flames then repainted it black. Once dry I removed the masking tape then painted it with transparet candy apple red. I then mounted some lights behind it. Looks cool at night

looks badass! i always wanted to do something similar with my 89...i never thought that the plastic would be "see-thru" enough to allow light to shine through it...great job!

I have a spare center section & have thought of doing something like that too.
