Filling holes

I was thinking about shaving the antenna so.

Would JB weld work to fill the hole or do you absolutely need to patch it with a piece of metal?

this belongs more in body and interior...

you don't really "need" to weld in new metal, but it depends on who you talk to.... want a perfect, "correctly done" job, or something that'll work?

I'm probably going to put in fiberglass mat and resin...

JB weld might work... but probably not great.

weld and grind if you do it do it right

at the very least weld a patch behind it and fill it so it will last past the 1st or 2nd pot hole
