need to make a bike stand for my rm 250 anybody have any plans or dimensions to make one of these bad boys

Of course you could just go to a sho and look at a design and copy it.

if this is for dirt bikes. i made a few for kids in my high school when i was in school. i made them out of alumin and they liked them alot. i think i made them 30'' tall, i used 1'' sqaure tubing. then for the top i used flat plate was i think 1 sq foot. then i put a bigger plate in the middle of the stand as a little spot to put stuff and add strenght. i fully tig welded everything worked out very well for them.

i made one in wood shop... its just like a step stool, except you need to measure it to be tall enough to hold the bike up with the suspension unloaded.. put on some 1" thick nylon plastic with countersunk screws for the top, and you're set

how did u guys lift the bike up on to the stand? or crate? the ones i see have a lil lever which u step on which raises the stand.

i dunno how my friends lifted there bikes but from what im guessin is. placing the stand next to the bike. goin to the back tire. lifting the bike up and swingin it into place on the stand and then lowering the back end. as long as you got the bike balenced or have someone holdin the side or front you shouldnt have problems. but thats my guess, never owned a bike, wish i did though.

Its all about leverage

Hold the bars and grab under the seat slightly lean it back (bike side) and pull up, push to side... woohoo a howto article

RM 250 is a piece of cake, try it with a KTM enduro bike! (Those ones they use inthe Dakar) i worked at a shop for 4+ years

you can just grab the bike, even a bigun like a desert enduro and tip it onto the stand...
