Mod Firebird Headlights

Not the best image, but I don't have photoshop so I had to use Windows Paint, but hopefully it gets the point/idea across.

Re: Mod Firebird Headlights

Looks like alot more bodywork than you'll probably want. Get a Camaro hood and go from there. You would have to cut the top of the bumper to accommodate for the bigger fatter lights. Good luck though...

Re: Mod Firebird Headlights

I've seen it done before, or the sleepy eye mod.

I like the sleepy eyes, since it still retains the pop ups, but keeps them within reason.

Re: Mod Firebird Headlights

The lights you have photoshopped from the grand prix/cutlass will never work without cutting into the bumper big time. I have done the conversion useing these lights. Even these being very small are a very tight fit.

No.....A Camaro hood would never fit. The Camaros have a flatter profile, whereas the Pontiac hoods "droop/curve" down lower.

Do you really think that the only difference in styling between a Camaro and Firebird are the headlights? Who is this "you" that bought their Firebird specifically for the pop-up headlights? I love the look of my Trans Am when the lights are down, but I think they look way too big and ugly when open.
