Engine Run Stand

Has anyone here constructed an engine run stand? I've seen plenty of engine dyno's, so it won't be too difficult to fab a stationary one, but I'd like to be able to rotate the engine 60 degrees (which would simulate oil return at 1.73 g's cornering). Finding an old axle center section to use as a gearbox to easily rotate over the engine would be ideal, so the thought would be to mount the engine in a frame, which would have a pivot in the rear for the gearbox and a pivot in the front, which could just be a large bearing, or even a 2" tube within a tube, packed with grease to act as a crude bushing. I've been wanting to investigate the wetsump oiling systems & the AFR head drainback under road race conditions, so I figured this was the best way to quantify it. Alternative would be to make plexi windows on the valvecovers, find a skidpad, remove the hood, and have a small video camera record the engine oil levels in the heads while I drive in circles. Thoughts?

I made one, but it does not swivel. I have it on my site.
If you do make it swivel, over build it a little. We don't need any run-away engines

I have everything to do it including a heavy duty cart to mount it on but just haven't had the time to build it yet. The generic ones are designed for any engine. I'll be building mine to hold SBC/BBC only.
