electronic cut out?

hi guys, i've got hooker long tube headers in my 91 gta...i was wondering if I could put two electronic cut outs on my exhaust system. What do they look like? How do they go inalled? These are just some of the questions I had. My friends got a 97 gtp and he put an electronic cut out and I was very impressed. Just wondering if anyone has done this to a trans am or a camaro? Please send me pics if you have them. I'm wondering how the hell they look like and how I can intall them. My exhaust hasn't been built yet, so I've got plenty of time add these two pieces in...but I really want to see what they look like? Please send me pics or write to me on how these bad boys work....thanks

Usually just a 3 bolt plate that has a small electric motor on the side to spin the plate. You usually have to buy cutout tubing from a catalog. Usually they come with manual plates and wing nuts on them, so you just bolt up your electrics in there place. Variety of designs but most use a rocker type push button that pivots the butterfly.
