Ummmmm ... yes ... it would make you slightly homo in my opinion. Sorry, but no matter what's under the hood, you still have an RS (and you should be proud of that).

I think it would be way classier to keep your car looking as stock as possible and them make them guess when you smoke some a-s-s on the green light. When I was in high school, one of my friends had a really built Mustang LS that he removed the 5.0 emblems from, cut one exhaust pipe short so you couldn't see it unless you were really looking, and would smoke about anything in town. All the ***** punks thought he was driving a 2.3 and thought they would pick on him. Then he burnt them bad. It was hilarious.

[edit] I have no idea why this board censored *******-r ...

[edit #2]HOLY CRAP!!!! Ric er!!! But you can post ricers (plural)!!!

That site hasnt been pdted forevr. And the guy doesnt seem to know what he's talking about all the time.

About the RS SRS RSS thing, When I had my Firebird v6 and someone called it a Trans Am, I corrected them. Every single time.

I saw a guy in a parking lot a couple of months ago driving a really loud 93-97 'SS' Camaro and nearly pissed myself.

i added some GTA badges to my v6 firebird and put on a 5" outlet muffler. the muffler got me about 95hp and the badges got me about 70hp. money well spent. next up, exhaust tip spinners.

cobra

loved the sight, it brought back memories of this girl i worked with at tgi fridays some years back. upon seeing her each day i would begin scraching my head as if i had a server nervious twich. her first day to work i noticed her black mustang pull up in the parking lot. just your run of the mill v6. she would talk about this car club she was a part of... the scratching begain. as the weeks wore on her car began a tranformation. first she added a spoiler then tinted windows. she began telling every one she was getting an engine swap, a gt motor for 1000 dollors . shed tell us that ford dealer was doing the swap, i told her that is was simply not true that a dealer would do a compleate swap for 1000$ she insised. a month later she had the cobra madellions on the side of the car and told everone she owns a cobra now, oh yae across her windshild it said cobra. funny though, her rims were the same stock rims, and her muffler was the same stock v6 muffler. however when questioned she stuck by her story. a year later
(she was fired for stealing, just about everyone did steal but she was stupid enough to get caught) i had heard that her car was vandilized on average once a week, from broken windows to flat tires to a slege hammer smashing her "cobra" trim markings. last i heard she contiued to replace the items and have her car repaired. looking back what a set of ***** hes had to have to mantaine her story. i hate fake people.

Vipershark,

That reminds me of an ebay ad I saw a week or two ago for a 91 firebird V6 ... the guy's main selling point was "most chicks think it's a Corvette!" I about died laughing.

90CamaroTBI ... you definitely should be proud of your RS. I love those cars. And believe it or not, I hear you can get MUCH more bang for your buck out of building up a TBI over a TPI.

I'm not into engine mods much, so building doesn't matter to me.

What the F does this have to do with fabrication?

Everything ... and nothing.

Simply pointing out how funny some people's idea of "fabrication" is. Wouldn't putting a big sheetmetal "shopping-cart-handle" wing and some "Ferrari" stickers on an '84 Berlinetta be fabrication?

Don't get your panties in a wad ... we'll lock it down.

Oh ... and I just noticed that you have an '85 "SS" Camaro. I can see you have a 383 with some mods, but its still not an "SS". Man, you've got a freakin' B-A-D-A-S-S IROC!!!

Your car looks AWESOME, and I'm jealous of such a beautiful ride, but its not an "SS". Just sayin's all ...

And for the record ...

tpiroc, I get a knot in my stomach when I look at your paint job. It is beautiful. Is that a factory red? It looks a little darker, and I LIKE it.

The guy that repainted it used all factory red... BUT found some red in the shop and decided to use it as a base coat to "get more red" on the car. So he sprayed the stock red over "mystery red" and out came this "IROC but darker" red... I love the color, but fear I won't be able to duplicate it. When the front end, gfx, and rear bumper got repainted the dude had a little trouble matching it

Looks like he matched it pretty good in the pics. I'll have to remember that magic formula when I get mine repainted.
