1992 Camaro RS Headlights

I have a 1992 Camaro RS and now the RS really stands for nothing, but the best thing about the RS was the hide-away headlights ( back in 67-69 ). Could you make hide-away headlights for a 1992 Camaro. Could I take the front end off of a Trans Am ( Hood, Front Bumper Assembly, Headlights, ect )... would I need the fenders too? Has anybody done this? Would it look good or would it look like crap? I know that it would look like a Camaro with a Trans Am front end. Can anybody photoshop that?

yea you can do it. it all fits. you would need the whole front clip( hood, bumper, fenders, head light assemblies) but remember you have a camaro!

alright here's an idea. instead of putting a firebird bumper cover on, why not just extend the camaro bumper up to the hood covering where the headlight bezel is now, then having pop up headlights cut into the hood like on the firebirds. that might be an interesting fab.

Yeah that's what I was looking at. Maybe I could only use the top portion of the Trans Am nose and graft it to a Camaro nose, then I could use the Trans Am headlights. Maybe I would have to some how graft the front portion of a Trans Am hood to a Camaro hood to get the lines right. I want to use as little of the Trans Am as possible. People will say it's a waste of time or too much fabrication. But I have almost 8 months of not being able to drive my Camaro cause of Winter, so I have lots of time.

From: pgh,pa,
do some searching, i have seen motorized headlight louvers for the camaro. if u made something like this and painted it body color it could be pretty sweet. ASCD made louvers similar to what im talking about but theirs werent motorized. Im thinking 3 flat blades that when open would look kinda like a grill, but when closed would sit flush and close off the opening

You don't need the fenders...
