Need help with temp mod

The end piece of my wiper control inside the car is broken, so after the switch to wash the window, I'm missing the rest.

I need to make a temp switch so my wipers can at least work for the time being. Is there a part on the relay somewhere or something that I can just pop a little switch on it and run it into my car somewhere so my wipers can at least turn on?

Basicly, I need to ghetto rig my wipers for the time being until I get a new piece for the wiper control...

Ideas?

Go to the junkyard and get a new turn signal lever.....

You'll waste more time with you're ghetto rig than just putting a new one in it.

Is it that simple? Do I need to tear the whole steering column apart to put the new one in there?

If you have cruise, you may have to run wires through the column or you may not. Some GM cars have a short set of wires that plug in at the top, some run them all the way through the column. The lever itself just pops in.

All the 3rd gens that I’ve seen that have cruise control do have that length of wire, but supposedly you can tie some wire to the plug and pull it through and then use the wire to pull it back (donno if the plug is really small enough to do that but it would be easy enough to pop the plastic part off the pins or even snip it off and reconnect it after you fished it through).

Honestly, I’ve never had a 3rd gen with working cruise control or cared to fix it so the couple of times that I’ve messed with the stalk (in one car I replaced it, in the other it was easy enough to fix with super glue) I just cut the wire and pulled it out in 2 pieces.
