Right Rear repair
I am finally in a position to start working on my 85 T/A in a serious manner. It needs lots of work. Ill be buying a 383 or 377 to put in it. My 700R only has about 6000 miles since rebuild but Ill be opening it up to make it a little stronger. I have lots of body work to do. The ground effects are damaged a little but not enough to replace them all. The right rear quarter might to be replaced I will have to get that done as Im not skilled enough with body work to do it. Ill try to get some pictures to get some advice on if it has to be replaced or if I can work it out. The one thing Im worried about is the rust at the point where the tail light ends on the right. That is a little out of shape and rusted.
The one thing that bothers me the most is the windshield. Under the windshield where it glues down all around is rusted. Not horribly rusty but enough that Im not sure how to go about repairing it. The right front fender needs replaced and the floor panel on the passenger side is rusting through. The floor panels are easy enough to fix.
I dont want to buy a new back glass but its kind of scratched up and pitted looking. Just not very fresh is there any way to buff it or shine it up.
anyway Im just babbling but pics will be coming and Ill be asking for some advice about it in the next few days.
Im glad to be back in the Thirdgen game. I have had this car since 99 and basically its just been neglected since Ive had it. Now I can give it the attention it deserves
