how to remove anodize

i was ondering if its possible to remove anodize and make it into a desine cuz i got a couple of parts and alot of free time and i wanted to try it any help would be nice thanks drew

use oven cleaner. spray on piece then wait 5 minutes and then rinse with water

how to remove anodize-images.jpg like this i seen it done bye a guy at a car show on his battery cover he told me how to doit but i forgot and i dond have enough money to engrave it thats why im asking this thanks

Lol, here's an idea I saw someone do with a paintball gun. They taped off a design in it, and then put it in the sun for a few days, the part that wasn't taped off faded

Tape it off (ue Hi temp tape) And use EASY OFF OVEN CLEANER in the YELLOW CAN.

spray it on the part you want to make the design. Then bake it in the oven for 30min. or so. around 325* You will bake the ano off.

Hopefully the easy off wont seep under the tape and mess up your design. Just make sure the tape is on good and rub the hell out of it to make sure it sticks good.

Keep an eye on it in the oven.

I use to strip lot sof ano off paintball and rc car parts this way.
