AN fittings welded to my rail for braided fuel lines
Wanted your opinions on my fuel rail jobby. No more hard lines. The feed line is -8AN and AFPR return line is -6AN. I also milled out the pass. side rail so to remove the restrictive washer inside. The ID of the rails were around .380 diameter but the washer ID was only around .100!!! Now everythign is approx .421 ID. Any issues you think with my fuel flow direction? FWIW, this is going into a FMU (fuel management unit) for my blower setup until my $59 tune is all set. The FMU has braided lines off it to the frame hard lines also.

Thanks all for the props and confirmation. I've gone through every extreme in making sure things are built enough to the point where I can really "drive it like it was stolen" and not worry about breaking much. The only thing that is not aftermarket in my car mechanically is the distributor. The only suspension component that isn't aftermarket steel are my A-arms and K-member. All else has been replaced over the past 3 years of this project.

I don't understand why you used all those fittings and then welded it together. Why not just use a piece of tubing and two fittings and then weld it? Would have looked better.

mathius, I don't agree completely. The looks is open to opinion (I respect yours). I was on a budget at that point of my rails. I didn't want to spend more than 200 bux total. I can't weld aluminum and that alone cost me 75. Along with the fittings and hose I was almost 100 bux over budget. The cost of the rails, injector bungs and then the welding cost would've brought me over more. I only know one person I'd trust to weld aluminum and she's expensive
