school project for v6, startin to get ideas need some help guys!

Well guys, I school starts in about 20 days. i'm goin to be a junior and pick a metal based projects class. so i go this idea to build Eaton superchargered 60* V6. Ya I know just do a turbo, its easy. i want to be different lol. since my welding skills are pretty good might as well challenge my self. i think dave has done supercharger work on v6s since he posted a wanted ad for a test car. anyone done this before? any ideas?

thanks guy, Anthony

the M90 used the thunderbird supercoupe would be the charger of choice for ease of install, its got a discharge pipe. just be a matter of making a bracket and finding a belt the right size to run it all. shouldent be that hard at all..

a remote mount triple turbo with a supercharger if you want a challenge (I just made that up, major props to any one that can pull that off :lol)

Cant be that bad, guy on latteral-g.net managed to fit a LS1 in a 57 Chevy and then gave it 8 turbos for ***** and giggles

Look on the V6 board for tips on the V6, several of them are running boost

I've seen that 57 on the net, dude had way to much time on his hands.. to be runng 8 turbos it wasent all that powerful (i think a little over 1000HP..2 turbos can do that.) quite a few of the V6 guys run boost, most are going with turbos though. eiser to setup and the parts are reasonable for the power you gain.. swaping to a FWD top end is becoming quite popular too (I've got a V6 bird, so I spend 90% of my time in the V6 section.)

Like this...

I don't have any use for it. It's got a fresh rebuild and has been ported. As is it's good for over 200hp, and more with a smaller pulley. Since I will now have a mock-up engine, I was thinking of making a kit to bolt the M90 to the 60*'s (I have a CNC shop and welding equipment). This is from a GM, the only difference between this and the Supercoup model is the way the TB's mount (oval back on the Ford model, instead of the round TB mount).
