can you take a nose peice body kit from like a 86 and put it on a 84 because i think the body kit on the front of my camaro is ugly but i like the ones on the 86's and if so how much would it cost

 

The answer is yes, you can put any 3rd gen Camaro nose on any year. the cost is just the same as if you were buying it normally. Usually $50-150 depending on condition I guess.

In fact you cant put just any front clip off a third gen, on your camaro. It just so happens that if your 86 is an irocz with a body kit that differs from lets say an 84 z28, they wont line up. I had this issue when i bought a 87 irocz, when i tried putting it on my 84 z28.

The ground efects are different sizes I belive there are 3 different ones. You can bolt any of them up but the lines down the side of the car won't line up unless you do the whole car. if your not to concerned with it you could just do the front and not worry about it but if you are paying atention when you look at the side of the car it will be noticable.
