CAI without relocating battery
Is there anyway to make a CAI on a camaro without relocating the battery? like would a filter fit by the carbon canister or anywhere else?
if anyone has pics of one id be happy
. i have a K&N one on my TB and it loses power when the cars hot go figure so i want to make a CAI any help would be appreciated thanks nate

i used 4" mandrel bent 45's cut to fit then welded and a turbnetics reducer connecting to an LT-1 inlet elbow via the maf, i did however remove the rt front lower apron panel were the oe airbox sat so the large cone filter could hang behind the fog light . i used the moroso lt-1 car product as "inspiration" with a little creativity i am confident you can devise an efficient concept

No need to touchthe battery. Just got to the opposite side, like Firebirds do, & go down through that side.

thats weird my battery is on the dr side? is it a year model thing? my '91 is on the dr side. but my tbi formula (r.i.p.) batt was on pass side.

if you have a Z why not just remove the baffles from the lower air ducting and get some hi-flo filters. gm hi-tech did some thing llike that ages ago back when 3rd gens were once in that magazine. and netted decent results
