third gen formula hood
is there any way to fab something up to make the vent on formula hoods functional?
i stumbled across some generic CAI for my 3.1 on ebay and wondered if i could just bend some pipe and throw a k&n filter up there and it would work.

yea. pull out the plastic part(end of scoop facing windshield) and cut out the middle part like a cowl hood. air wouldnt be forced in but it would vent hot air nicely. i was gona do the mod but i hit a deer. now i got a ram air II hood

the mod is done on my hood. its keeps that thing almost too cold now. take about an hour to warm to 190 deg.
