air induction
air induction
I swapped a 1979 350 into my 83 z28. Had the LU5 option with functioning air flaps on hood. How can i hook up the the solenoid on the hood to open flaps again under throttle? ECM is gone.

Re: air induction
umm maybe a pedal switch
what would Mac Guyver do?
I know he would buy a cheap shift lite and take it apart and disconnect the lite and run the power wire to a 12v relay that gets power when the car is on, from the relay he would hook up the solenoid. From this he could set a certain rpm and at that rpm it would send a continuous signal to the relay that would open the flaps when needed.
I would just leave them open all the time but im not that creative.
