if its custom or home made i wanna see it! lets see what you've built or your favorite mod!
just plain sick, im mad jealous, wanna come do that to mine? ill even buy ya a plane ticket lol
almost plug-and-play autometer gauge setup for my TA, all fits in the stock gauge pod and plugs into the factory connectors/harness. Just 3 extra wires for the water and oil temp gauges

widened interior panels, just one pic, its all pretty much done took a looong time.

offset control arms by Spohn, still holding strong, they didnt break!

a little bit of a mini-tub

theres more, but i dont have pics.

i dig the gauge setup, how much dough it set ya back?
those turbo headers really did come out well Orr89RocZ, quite impressed with what you were able to accomplish.
Love that mini tub and offset arms. I wanted to do something like that to mine as I love fat tires out back

I know i could do another build better now that i've done this one, but it took 9months to get it running and its been about a month and a half of trying to tune it. Not sure i want to do another build again haha. Expensive toojust plain sick, im mad jealous, wanna come do that to mine? ill even buy ya a plane ticket lol

electric full sweep guages are not cheap, speedo and tach were like 250 each, and the little ones were almost 200 each.Originally Posted by mikehaase1norse
damnnnn worth it tho? They are more accurate, look neat and the project was fun, so it was worth it. Not sure if i would do it again though, unless sombody was buying it.
Mechanical guages would be a lot cheaper, but would not suit what i was looking for.
Was it hard to install everything in the dash? Did factory wiring kinda plug and play nice? I wanted a new tach/speedo to go with the new turbo setup as i think it will do more than 145mph

I'm going to say how I kept all my turbo stuff under the stock hood and maintained a street exhaust:

Camaro's guage pods are different shape, without having one i could say.Originally Posted by Orr89RocZ

As for the birds, all the wiring was there, just had to use little machine screws and nuts to bolt the wires to the back of the pod, sandwiching the printed wiring on the back like the factory did with the screws into the guages. The only wires that were not there were for the water temp and oil pressure. Factory is a 1 wire sender, the autometer ones were 2 and 3 wire, so i couldn't use the factory signal wires for those two guages. everything wlse, volts, fuel level, speedo, tach and backlighting were usable. It is however a very tight fit, the center of the bird pod is deeper than the 2 ends, not a big deal for the 2 1/16 guages, but the speedo and tach dont fit. They sit about 3/8" up from the face of the aluminum mount for the gauges that i made on little spacers i made from black ABS pipe. I had to cut the clear plastic lense form the stock pod in half because the speedo and tack stick through it a bit.

It's a good spot for a light. I plan to move the cigarette lighter to the center console.Originally Posted by Orr89RocZ

82-90 Clear and reflective(horizontal lines like stock) front turn lamps:

Those are kind of old news though. I went with 91-92 firebird turn signals for the new nose. I'm going to like these modified 91-92's because once I cut off the lense, the new front lense can just be bolted down and easily replaced, not glued on. Lot easier to make. Going to clear and not clear reflective because will modify the bulbs to have both filaments on making them brighter, also will be behind a grille. Got to do a little painting yet on the 91-92 turn signals but here is a progress pic:

Do you have a thread on these? I really, really want more info on this. I have a cracked passenger lens and I don't want to give my arm for a pair of new ones.Originally Posted by Firebat

How is that ducted from the air filters all the way through the open (in the pic) throttle body?Originally Posted by Pocket

Inlet is in the rear of the blowers and pressurized outlet is on the bottom facing towards the headers
Not shown are the 'hats' that connect the outlet to 2.5" pipe that is ducted through the front plates up to the 2 into 1 intercooler which goes directly to the TB much like Orr's setup
There is a thread about it in this forum. I havent had much time to finish up the little details of the build

Just about every picture I take of my car is a custom mod. I wouldn't know where to start to post a single picture.
You might want to be more specific in your request.

Alright, heres my corner light. I only have one done. (passenger obv) Its quarter inch thick lexan painted black and secured with black rtv silicone. Sorry for the crappy pics, but you get the idea. I need another housing to do the other side, cause I dont want to waste the one I have.

here's a pic of the rear bulkhead I made to seperate the fuel cell from the drivers compartment and the hinges I made to hinge the trunk lid for re fueling. And my hand cut lexan rear window

My custom double hump T56 crossmember, retaining the Spohn tq arm mount.

My y-pipe. All stainless except for the merge, 3" e-cut out with turn down, and stainless v-bands at each joint.

Guage setup. The wideband is missing in this shot.

Full 4th gen A/C system. Im particularily proud of that one haha.

Man...there is so much stuff. Havent even cracked the surface now that I try to write it all out.
