I am installing a B&M Console Mega Shifter in my 91 TA. The instructions say I have to drill 4 holes into the original shift plate to attach the boot plate to the car. I am a little nervous doing this... Has anyone done this before, how does it come out? Any help would be appreciated.

 

its real easy. there should of been a template that they sent with the shift kit. n it should say what template holes to use in the directions. all i did on mine was line it up to where i liked it and tapped the template on. then i used a small drill bit to start the holes so where the screws going in would be super tight. then after that its just installing the shifter in the stock location and running the b&m shifter cable to the tranny. if u want ill take some pictures of mine and send u them
