TPI LSx manifold

dunno if itll work but i thought itd be funny to make a TPI intake for lsx motors. it wouldnt look exactly like the factory one but itd be cool to use the upper manifold.

if i knew how to photoshop id make an example. with i knew how to weld aluminum too.

get these flanges and weld some tubes to the upper intake.

Re: TPI LSx manifold

A LSx car style intake is pretty much a TPI intake with the plenum on the bottom and everything cast as one piece

Yes, putting a LS6 intake on a TPI engine would be a better choice, if it could be fabbed up.

Re: TPI LSx manifold

nice idea, even though I'm not a big TPI fan, but I do have to admit that the tpi is one of the better looking V8's that GM made in the last 40 years or so... _If_ someone wanted to do it with the ability to do it, properly designed there isn't any good reason why it couldn't make good power with just some slightly larger runners and plenum then the original TPI...
