Fabricating my own torque arm mount
Because my Currie 9" housing was pointing my Jegster torque arm at the floor, I had to come up with a solution. Here's why:
So I started by cutting the Jegster mount apart:
Then I removed the housing from the car so I could work easier. Using some cardboard I started designing the top plate:
Since the bottom is identical, I just made 2. Then transferred the design onto 1/4" steel:
Then drilled holes:
Then cut the relief to mount to existing bracket:

Re: Fabricating my own torque arm mount
Thanks. I have a millermatic DVI (dual voltage input) but only have 120VAC service in my garage currently, so I had to make due.
Some good torch preheat and everything worked well.
