ok so im just curious and im sure this has been thought of before and possibly even been pulled off. but does anyone know if there are wiper arms we can convert too so we have the newer style blades with the hook instead of the pesky annoying outdated pos pin type wiper arms? this would be cool to do. if anyone has done it can they please give me advice?

 

Go to the JY and pick up the wiper arms off of any other make with the hook, drill out the factory rivets on your factory wiper arms and cut the "new" ones to length. Re-rivet. voila.

 

Why would you want to? They work, they're cheap and easy to get... I ended up having to order wipers for my 4th gen because I couldn't find any replacements at any local stores, never had a problem with the old school wipers like on a 3rd gen.

 

And about the only wiper blade that you can't use is the Bosch ICON. There are plenty of others out there that will work amazing. Bosch Evo, Anco Contour, RainX Latitude and Repel plus all the cheapies.
