Thinking of relocating battery to behind pass wheel well?

Thinking about relocating my battery to where the blower motor, AC accumulator, evaporator and heater core were, behind the pass side wheel well, I don't like having that much weight in front of the wheels, but do not wish to relocate to the trunk because of the weight the wiring would add.

Anyone relocated it to there and have any pics? Also wondering if there are car batteries that are more vertical mount friendly, ie. taller, but less wide and long, because it is kind of tight over there.

Not by much from what it looked like, only an inch or two, a few new cars are actually putting there batteries in almost that exact spot.

If it's only for street use, you can do anything you want. If you intend on going to the track, any battery that's not in the OEM location will still need a master switch installed at the rear even if you have a 13 second car. That means running 2 cables to the back.

a lot of the boxes I see are for 24 series batteries which is pretty big for that spot. try a 55 series, you can get them with some good CCA and they're tiny by comparison.
