interested in 91/92 rocker fiberglass ground effects??

As the title says, would anybody be interested in a pair of fiberglass rocker ground effects for the 91/92 firebirds? $200 plus shipping each pair. they will be molded off mine, and will be test fitted before shipping, and guaranteed to fit perfectly. could paint and clearcoat for extra, depending on color.

Do you already have a set fabbed up? Not knockin' you, but nobody knows your skill level enough to fork out $200 bones sight unseen. If you had a example of your workmanship I think you would have a better shot and selling them. Not a bad idea though.

make a mold, using everything necessary to make them right, without taking any shortcuts.. have seen waaay to many ebay kits that are unbelievably cheap quality, warped and dont even come gelcoated...

Re: interested in 91/92 rocker fiberglass ground effects??

I hope I don't offend but I would not be interested in fiberglass version. Even the factory style are too fragile, IMO. An even stiffer, more brittle variant would scare me. Just my $.02

There was a member talking about offering metal replacements and even that scared me a bit. I guess luckily he never came through and I eventually found a set of factory versions.

i remember the metal pieces somebody was going got do to replace the front fender gfx, they were not even remotely close to what the real piece was.

I presumed this thread was in reference to front pieces. I never even knew there was a demand for rear pieces?

i fixed that, typo on my behalf. I meant "real" not "rear" in that last bit

this thread says, rocker, so i assumed under the doors, not the fender GFX. Seems odd, but ok.

If this was for front fender gfx, there is no way to make the from glass for 200 bux, way to intricate. But at least if they get busted, they are easily fixed.

Hawks has re-pop front GFX made fomr ABS. Not sure how they hold up strength wise

Re: interested in 91/92 rocker fiberglass ground effects??

yeah, i was talking about the ones that go under the bottom of the door, not on the door nor the front ones..
