could a tpi intake be cut down?

Transmission: a4 w/ 4500 stall/ a4 / t5
Axle/Gears: strange s60 /w 3:42's
could a tpi intake be cut down?

i have an idea for a new project but i was wondering could a tpi intake be cut down to work on a 4.3v6 like the stealth ram is cut down to fit the 4.3?

I'm confused as to how still have 8 ports will work feeding a 6... Obviously it's not done yet.

That said, the runners on the stock TPI don't drop straight down, they cross, and also go through the center section where that manifold was shortened. I'm not saying it's not possible, but it's probably not going to be a cut-and-paste procedure.

u are right i didnt post the finished pictures,what is done is they block off 2 of the runners on the top of the manifold

Grumpy Jenkins used to cut up sbc intakes to work on chevy 90*v6s. He used a tunnelram, but a tpi is possible, aluminum is easily welded. You need to figure out how to cut it so the ports line up. I think grumpy staggered the cuts.
