custom rear bumper
heres another project im starting while i wait for the engine to get redone. this one was in my mind for about 9 years now, and its time to start making it happen. ive been looking to see if anyone made a air dam rear bumper, but no luck. so here is mine in the early stages...
first: bought a pre 85 rear bumper::

second: make first cutout::

third: make first template::

Re: custom rear bumper
there are alot of "custom" camaros near me, but mine takes it to another level. im pretty sure i have one of the most modified exteriors and interiors for a daily driver. god i love being different
Re: custom rear bumper
I was toying around with something like this for my blue car. Figure some kind of universal diffuser with a whole lot of plumbing sticking out it. Just a few minuets in photochop for you to get the basic idea. At the moment your car looks a bit fiero-ish. Whatcha think?
Re: custom rear bumper
i wont have my exhaust running through mine. my pictures dont do any justice. the car looks much better in person. i think its the cell phone picture angles. im not making a rear diffuser, this is going to be the actual bumper when finished.

What does the rear diffuser do performance wise?
Re: custom rear bumper
my air dam? not sure if it will have much, but i dont care if it does or not. i believe it will help air flow pass though the bumper. its more of the look im going for than performance i would or wouldnt get.

i like the tail pipes coming out the middle of the cut out on the bumper, wanted to do it to mine, just gotta wait for my b***s to drop to cut into my bumper
