Powered convertible top conversion?
Looking at getting back into a fun car and may go with a third gen. Does anybody make a powered top conversion instead of the manual top?
If I were to try it, can anyone recommend some parts (motors mainly)?

I'd look into linear actuators. You'd need something to open the tonneau cover first.

Agree. Would have to open the cover first. My plan is to use a programmable controller to make the whole thing automated. One button open. Cover lifts, top unlatches, goes back, sets down, cover lowers. We'll see what I can actually accomplish.
