Help with stock 7.5 axels

I decided not to build a 9inch for my 85 dirt track car, and I want to get better aftermarket axels.Where should I go for the best deal? I don't want to spend much. Thanks. The rearend had 3:73's out of a 86 transam if it makes a difference.

Re: Help with stock 7.5 axels

The cost of aftermarket 26 or 28 spline axles is the same. Since you're going to upgrade, you might as well upgrade the posi as well and go right to 28 splines.

You can get axles from just about anywhere that makes axles. Back when I had a 10 bolt, I used axles from here. I bought their KA axles.

26 spline is KA7-A5
28 spline is KA7-A7

I don't know what the going rate is. When I bought mine, they were only $125 each.
