Side view turn signal mirror install

Side view turn signal mirror install

Ok so beem seeing alot of newer cars with the side view mirror turn signal im wondering if anybody has put a set into there 3rd gens yet an if so how hard is it to do

I've seen one with a light mounted inside the side mirror housing so that basically the light that was seen was what what shined around the mirror.

Then small LED strips mounted to bottom of the mirror housing.

And 1 guy that actually pulled the mirror & somehow made the orange arrow pattern appear through the glass. Dunno how he managed that one. Scrapped off just enough backing for it to shine through but still had a mirror reflection?

I have some bulbs mounted inside the light housing on a custom bracket. Just working out the wiring. Stay tuned and I should have a write up in the next week or two...

I've been wanting todo this as well ...I shaved my doors ...I filled all the holes for handles, key hole, and the mirror's....I want to find a set of 4th gen mirrors with the light in them ...also because I shaved my front blinker in the fender...
