Custom dash wiring questions

I'm building a custom dash for the Camaro and trying to incorporate all of the various gauges I have in the A-pillar pod and under the heater vents into the stock instrument location. All will be replaced with aftermarket plus a few added. I'm hoping to squeeze nine gauges into that space.
Wiring the gauges isn't difficult but I'd like to know what's involved with tapping into the turn signals and high beam indicator. Is there an LED pigtail that drops into the bulb socket or some other connector or do you have to build something from scratch.?
I haven't found anything via a search.
Same question for the fuel level gauge. I think the OEM gauge is wired to a printed circuit board. How is that extended to an aftermarket fuel level gauge?
This is in an 86 Coupe. I'd like to get an idea before I tear the dash apart (again).
Thanks.

Nine gauges is asking a lot - You may be able to achieve 8 gauges in the cluster but you will have to use smaller speedometer and tachometer. I thought of going that route and adding in two others but in the end I wasn't comfortable having a smaller speedometer and tachometer. I suppose you could do a center mounted speedometer that is the same size that I used and not mount a tachometer in the display, instead opting to mount a monster tach on the dash. That might yield you being able to fit all of the other gauges. The wiring isn't too difficult. I used http://www.austinthirdgen.org/index.php?pid=19 which has the cluster diagrams except for 86-88 but yours may be the same as 85 or 89 years. It is easy to trace the wires from the gauge to the pin though.
For the fuel level gauge you will want to get one that is either user programmable or will measure the standard GM 0-90 ohms. I believe 90 is full and 0 is empty.
As long as you don't use some really cheap or old gauges you can run them all in a series (power and illumination separate) and it will be well under the 10 amp factory fuse.

Re: Custom dash wiring questions

The gauge part is a no-brainer. It's the turn signal and high beam indicator that I'm really inquiring about. There are loads a pictures of custom instrument panels but I haven't seen anything or read what parts are used to replace the factory signals.
As for the nine gauges I've laid it out on a template using a 3 3/4" tach and speedo and 2 1/16" everything else. Looks like it'll fit but that remains to be seen. I'll have to carve up the backing plate a lot and use up the space where the idiot lights are across the bottom.

You may be right about them all fitting. I had forgotten that the pre-90 gauge cluster was longer and could feasibly fit the extra gauges. The 90-92 cluster is small.
I'm unsure about what you mean for the turn signals, perhaps you need to look at the actual wiring diagram of how they are wired? http://www.austinthirdgen.org/mkport...uges_part1.gif
All you would need to do is buy some small lamp/indicator LEDs that can be panel mounted, they can share the same ground and then the positive lead goes to the turn signal indicator wire.
