need help with home made ws6 ram air air box

need help with home made ws6 ram air air box

so i have a 1992 firebird and im trying to do some buget improvements i got my ram air II hood for 60 bucks at the junk yard and have it fitted so i was trying to figure out how to build a cheap air box for it to get some cold air into it it has a 3.1 v6 hence the fact im making one to start with so i can save up for a professional one when i do a 5.3 swap so any help would be apreciated and yes ive searched alli find is ram air for camaro which seem alot easier

Use cardboard, lots of it

Having been down that road, you will not find a simple design that fits, esp with the LSx engine. The boxes sold with the hoods dont even seal to it, so it's going to be a battle. Why not stick to the standard tube to the fenderwell and leave the hood to aesthetic duty
