You can add led bulbs to your stock fog lights, it's fairly cheap and looks much better. Except there is little to no visibility improvement. These are complete new housing, lens, mounting brackets and everything needed. They are very close to the same size as the stock fog lights and even have the same angle on the lens. The mounting brackets are similar and block less air going to the radiator. Biggest improvement is visibility, you can see even without headlights. We designed the brackets for an easy install and the actual fog lights are made by Morimoto. They were originally designed for a different vehicle and have been in production for over 5 years. 1985-1992 Camaro Morimoto XB Fog Lights (screamingchicken.com)
I've wondered about those fitting, the specs looked really close. That's a great price that you have them for, basically a free bracket! Morimoto is awesome.

Took awhile to figure out the brackets, took them to 3 different companies to produce until I found one that could do it for a good price and quality. The lights work great, I was pleasantly surprised on how much light they put out. They are slightly narrower, but height and lens angle is almost identical.
When are you going to make a set for the 85-90 trans ams? I’ve done upgraded housings with HId, LED and SAE & DOT fog pods and now onto 4” mini motorcycle headlights that have a low and high beam which offer good low beam cutoff and high beam helps my JW speaker headlights.

Hopefully this fall, working on 1998-2002 Trans Am fog lights currently. After that working on 1982-84 Camaro and 1985-90 Trans Am options.
Was just looking for new fog lights for my 86 Iroc as mine are all rusted out and the wiring shot. Wasn't happy finding OE replacements for nearly what you are charging for an actual upgrade. Is the price for a pair or 1 each?

That price is for a pair with brackets and plugs into factory wiring with no mods. We also sell new connectors if your plastic clips are broken.
I'll chime in and say I am very happy, although I do have one suggestion for improvement. The bracket for the bolts, the clips for the screws are loose and kinda make it annoying when lining them up to bolt onto the vehicle. The OE brackets have an actual nut welded on the bracket. I will emphasize that it is me nitpicking a great product.
Also, I highly recommend getting the pigtails to splice into the factory harness. I think they are an extra 10 bucks or something. The factory connector works, but the connector from the new lights doesn't click in with its clip, so with some effort they can be pulled out. The new pigtails prevent that problem. Overall, great set of lights for the price.

Those Lights use a VERY COMMON Electrical-Connector, that is a AMP/ TE Brand COPY of the Delphi Metri-Pack (sealed) 280 Series Electrical-Connectors.
I used to sell HID and LED Lighting upgrades for Third-Gens...
I always would cut off the "Lower Quality Knock-Off" Connectors, and re-terminate everything for the corresponding Delphi Electrical Connector.
A superior fit, finish, and lock in place.

Morimoto lights come with smaller dual wires (both black for some reason) and useless connectors, so we cut those off and use a connector sold by a company in the midwest US (components may come from China, but almost everything electrical related does nowadays). The connectors we use are sealed, use a good quality wire (red/black) and have worked quite well over the years on 3rd and 4th gen Camaros/Firebirds. Delphi is no longer around, replaced by Aptiv years ago so connectors look different regardless of the source.

The Lights look great!
The illumination is excellent!
Yes, after the 2008-2009 Financial-Disaster; GM sold off it's 51% Controlling Stock of Delphi Electronics and its Subsidiaries.
Aptiv did purchase Delphi, and continued to produce all of the Delphi Connection-Systems Products that were in current production at that time.
Currently, Aptiv produces their own new Products...
and they have continued to produce approximately 85% of the entire Delphi Product Catalog since the Purchase 10+ Years ago.
If for some reason, ScreamingChicken.com has been unable to locate or purchase some Delphi Products...
I would be more than happy to determine if the Components that you are looking for are still available, and if so...
Provide you with a Contact, that you can make purchases from and/ or create a Wholesale/ Retailer Account.
Feel free to Private-Message me with your needs/ requests.

The 280 series connectors have the retaining clip on the top or bottom, the factory connector has the retaining clips on the sides. Is there another connector series you are referring to? Considering Delphi went out of business over 10 years ago I would think a newer replacement would be better.
The Metri-Pack 280 Series has Connectors produced for most of the Headlamp Models from the 1980s and 1990s.
Some newer Models were also produced from 2000 to 2008.
Below are one Set of the Metri-Pack 280 Series Connectors with Clips on the sides of the Connector-Body:
The Female Connector fits: H11 Bulbs, and most of all the 800 Series Bulbs.

Here is what the Aptiv 280 series looks like, which is what is available from most suppliers of electrical connectors.
They are quite cheap and look like a quality connector, but wouldn't work with what is on 3rd gen Camaros so it would require changing both ends. The connectors we use to work with the factory connectors are about three times the price of these, both resist moisture and make a positive connection thou.
Below is the link to a Metri-Pack 280 connector that most suppliers have when looking for that connector. Aptiv 15300027 Metri-Pack 280 Series Female Body 2 Contact | Waytek (waytekwire.com)
That is ONLY one version of the Sealed Two-Way Metri-Pack 280 Series Connectors.
The Sealed Metri-Pack 280 Series is made up of about 12 or 13 different Two-Way Connectors...
with different shapes, different Terminal orientations, and different retaining positions.
If the Female Connector that I posted looks as if it will fit your Bulbs, I will Post Part numbers and a Source for the Parts.
Every Connector Part in the Image that I post further up in this Thread, are from the Metri-Pack 280 Series:
Correct, but if your looking for a 2 terminal Metri-Pack 280 series connector that is currently available you get something that has the fastener on the top/bottom instead of the sides which is why we use the connector we use. We have used a lot of them over the years, they have been working well and I can get more of them easily. Originally the connector on the car attached directly to the bulb so the side of the connection I need wasn't sold by GM.
If you like the Connector that I Posted...
I will add your name to a List, to set-up an account for you, to be able to purchase the Connectors.
Sometimes Waytek prices are better... and sometimes not... but everything will be piecemeal (NO Bulk orders necessary).
PM me an E-Mail Address for you, and I will add the E-Mail Address to the Database List.
Then you can create an account and purchase your own Connector Parts at wholesale prices.

These fog lights are one of the products on sale for our Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale (11/22 thru 12/3). Morimoto recently had a price increase, but sale price is still lower than the pre-price increase rate. There are some Morimoto knock offs on Ebay/Amazon that look similar but performance, reliability and warranty are not even close to the real Morimoto lights. The brackets to make them a bolt on install for 3rd gens are made here in Texas so supply chain issues don't effect them.
Those look great and sound like quality units. Got better headlights for my 2000 Ford Excursion ? Ford offered NO fog lights that year, so it's not wired for same.

Unfortunately I don't have any products for trucks, just Camaros & Firebirds. The wiring on fog lights is fairly easy to add, lot of universal type kits available with a relay and everything needed. Not sure what would fit an Excursion thou for the lights.

We added a fog light wiring kit to our website so if your car didn't come with fog lights or a previous owner removed them this kit includes everything to wire them up. The kit doesn't come with a switch (fog lights come on with the running lights), but we include instructions on how to add one. The way we designed the kit all the wiring stays near the fog lights and you don't have to run any wiring into the interior which makes the install easier. Can be used with the Morimoto fog lights or factory fog lights. 1982-92 Camaro/Firebird Fog Light Wiring Kit (screamingchicken.com)
