Can someone make me a Firebird tail light cover/blackout panel?

Hi guys

I'm sure some of you have tried the same as me: boughg a GT Styling tail light cover/blackout panel... only to find that they only cover the lighted portions on the far left and right sides of the tail lights, leaving the center piece uncovered. It looks ridiculous since the entire tail light assembly is not covered.

Is someone out there able to fabricate a one-piece tail light cover? Similar to the kitt blackout panels, but instead of being totally flat, its designed to fit over the contours of the 85-92 style tail lights...

I prefer a smoothed out one piece cover, vs putting a tint wrap over my 91-92 style tail lights.

PM me if someone can help fabricate it for me! Thanks

Could try the VHT Knight shade, using this you can make them as dark as you want or what your local law will allow.

Thanks. That's more permanent. I want to leave the original tail lights untouched underneath, and also have a one piece smooth cover over the top. Tint wrapping or spray tinting will not give that one piece look, and it will also show the vertical ridges that are present on the 91-92 lights.

I tried contacting GT Styling to see if they want to develop one, but they are super hard to get hold of. Not great customer service. Still puzzled how they market their one as a tail light cover when it doesn't cover the entire tail light.

What are KITT replica people doing for tail lights?

I reached out to this vendor to see if he could make me one. He just said his one won't work on the 85-92 tail lights since ours have a 'bubble' or dome like surface. These kitt panels only work on the flat 82-84 style tail lights

Convert your tail lights to the 82-84 style, get the KITT light panels and Bobs your uncle

It would require a heat source (oven, lamp) and a vacuum mold.
Once the panel is modeled, the mold can be made from that. I doubt the demand is high enough to justify the effort and cost.
