I finally got ahold of him three weeks ago and he has moved to another state and does not have his business up and running yet. His web site say he is not taking any orders right now and if I want them from him I probably will have to wait 6-8 weeks. I was trying to see if I can find somebody else who has the knowledge and equipment to make them for me to purchase.
I printed off a template from Lukes and traced it on a piece of steel. Worked great. Ask him if he has cad. numbers.
What template did you use from Luke's the only thing I see on his post is the spindle brackets for the C4 Vette calipers to use on 3rd gen. If so would these work for 1LE caliper cause I know they are similar.
Unfortunately, no.
If you wanted them from aluminum, I can mill them.
I would need the file for them, with dimensioning for verification.
Hey! I appreciate you trying to help me.
They really need to be made from 3/8" thick steel. I'm afraid aluminum will not be strong enough. If you can do it from steel that would be great but I do not have the file for them still searching for it.

Aluminum is stronger than you think, and saves weight.
I've machined several suspension parts from it. Keep in mind, driveshafts, engines and their components, trans, just to mention a few are made from aluminum.
I have one of the many vehicles that utilize aluminum for the spindles, a-arms, etc.
