TPI air lid with a 4" opening

So I have swapped my 3rd gen with an ls3 and wanted to keep the stock TPI air lid look but knowing that the opening was just at around 2.89" it would be restrictive for the air needed for the LS3 so I went and modified my lid to make it a 4" opening to the rubber boot. Have you guys done this to increase air flow to you stock SBC or LS swapped vehicle?
