Anyone have a picture of the SS style hood on a Dark Red Metallic (74U) Camaro? Or even the 2" cowel?

That's the big block style hood, looks better than the ss in my opinion. Lol I like the small cowl hood though

Is there anyway to have the turbo cowl hood without totally rusting the engine when water gets in? Haha

Re: Best aftermarket Camaro hood: Cowl vs. SS.....

If anyone in Oklahoma or surrounding area has an SS hood they want to trade for a new steel 3 inch cowl hit me up. I would like to trade. It's currently painted sunset orange metallic.

^ that cowl actually fits the 3rd body great!

Unlike the basic cowls that just mimic the 69 camaro version.

Cerridius that's nice!!! I just bought my son a '89 with that same hood and I was thinking of going with those stripes. Were they modded to fit?

Cowl all the way. I don't think the lines of the SS hood compliments the boxy features of the gen 3. But who am I, I still have a flat stock hood lol.

Re: Best aftermarket Camaro hood: Cowl vs. SS.....

I think the Turbo Daytona style is the best since it's the only hood that allows you to keep the louvers/blisters and the stock flared stripes. I didn't see a picture of a finished Daytona Turbo hood in this thread so here's mine. Stripes are painted on and the side vents are cut open and functional now.
