FREE Photo hosting

I know a lot of times people wonder where to host their photos online. I ran across this website that has a FREE account for hosting photos. It stores about 80-100 photos in the free account and serves around 600 views a month. Not bad for the light user like me They have larger packages if you need more bandwidth. I've been using this site for a month now and its ROCK solid. Just an FYI for people needing a place to host pics.

Did you sign up with them? Tell me what you think after you sign up. They redid the upload portion sometime today, because now it has a little popup that shows how fast your files are uploading and how long you have until they are done. Pretty neat stuff.

Phyte,

I didn't get a chance to sign up and move all my pics over to them yet, I've been busy as hell with work and class. I'll pop a post up in here when i get to it, probably not until sunday....

I think OnClick(not onepix) was aware of that because today in the "get links" tool there is now an alternate forum link. I think some forums require that the link has a valid image extension like .jpg or .gif or whatever.

Hmm.... Looks like I will have to mess with it some more. I called it onepix because I was too lazy to scroll up and see what the official name was again.

Here's the problem with "free" photo hosts. Most of the time they don't allow remote linking.. Meaning you couldn't post a pic on TGO. Also if you look around a lot of people have problems with free hosts not always being up, or even around anymore I upgraded my account and uploaded every digital pic I've got and I'm not even at 1/3 of my limit plus the unlimited bandwidth is fantastic. $10/year is nothing, considering I spend that everyday on fast food and Dr. Pepper
