87 Formula 350 Supercharged 17k Original miles!!
Supercharged 1987 Formula 350. White with black deluxe interior. Loaded with options: 350 TPI TH700 Auto, A/C, PWindows, PLocks, Tilt, Cruise, power hatch, 3.27 Posi 9-Bolt rear, 4-wheel disk brakes. I bought this car new in 1987 and have owned it ever since, only has 17,600 original one-owner miles. The Paxton SN-89 Supercharger was added in 1991. The car has original paint, never any collision work done, all body panels are original. NO RUST. NO BONDO. NEVER RUSTED!
Original numbers matching Motor, Heads, Transmission, Torque converter, Rear axle, etc.
Has an Autopower road racing Bolt-In (easy to remove) Roll Cage with removable side bar and window net. Also has Southside Machine weld-in frame connectors which really tighten up the chasis.
I need to clear some room in the garage so I'm selling the car for $7500.
Car is located in Rockland County, New York, zip code 10956.
A/C needs a charge and rear spoiler has typical cracks. I have a second spoiler from an 84 trans-am.

I bought the kit for $3,200.00 directly from Paxton Superchargers in 1991. Since then I've had custom pullies made. The crankshaft pully is a combination of an underdrive pulley and the Paxton drive. The blower pulley is 1/2" larger to slow the blower down. This is the secret for long blower life!

Car: 1987 trans am GTA - sold
Engine: L98
Transmission: 700r4
Very cool car. I just sold my 87 white GTA - but this sounds really interesting. Why the roll cage? Has the supercharger increased the power that much to need it for the track or something? How does the tranny and rear end hold up under the extra power? Any other mods besides the supercharger?

When I was younger I worked for a guy that had a 69 Camaro with a roll cage and I wanted a car like that. I wanted to road race the car and installed the cage but never got to race the car. I took the car to Pontiac day at Englishtown NJ for the show & go and ran the 1/4 mile there a dozen times or so over the years.
I have not used the car for 10 years, it's just been sitting in the garage like a time capsule. Once in a while I will throw a plate on it and go for a cruise at night.
The roll cage is bolted in at 6 places so when it's removed all that's left is the holes from the bolts. They are easily plugged by the bolts after the cage is removed.
They only made 1500 1987 Formula350's and I special ordered it with all the options which included the 140MPH speedo that a few people have asked about.
The supercharger with an autonatic trans is real easy on the driveline, heads were ported with new exhaust seals and valves. Transmission was just gone over (was leaking), the rebuilder said "it looked like new inside" so he replaced all the seals and I had him put in the better clutch plates.
I also just did front brake calipers, hoses, pads, oxygen sensor, transmission mount, etc.
Well, my fingers hurt now, you take the ride out from Missouri and I will give you the life history of the car in person! Thanks for looking.

Hey Corvette Z51, I saw your Formula on ebay a few days ago and was blown away, looks like you really took care of her... Sick ride! Is it sold yet? Where exactly is Rockland County anyway, Im right around Buffalo. Planning on selling both my cars, too bad I hadnt done it sooner or Id be the first one in line to hand you that $7500! I always wanted a blown car. Good luck w/ the sale man.
