Good luck on your sale!
Selling as a roller, you provide engine ONLY and it's ready to go. Car ran 10.30's on the pump gas sbc engine only and 9.60's on spray doing timeslip math (we were racing 1/8mile at the time with that engine) Car works extremely well for brackets, been to more final 4's than not over the yrs with it, Everything still street legal and it got street driven when we'd have local get togethers/crusies and when time allowed it.
LOTS of aftermarket stuff inside and out, alot invested, but my business has taken a serious slump due to economy and we just recieved notice my wifes department is closing down at her work, so naturally taking a few precautionary steps since we dont know what the future is going to bring. I will be negotiable on price, but make no mistake, I'm not hurting now or long term so i am not giving it away; so if unreasonable lowball offers on part of your plan, save it for something else, i'm not interested...it's costing me nothing to sit in the trailer since it's all been built with cash.

86 firebird
Exterior mods:
Body completely stripped to sheet metal, blems fixed and all new PPG base/clean '70 chevelle torch red paint applied
Custom made GTA hood that I had a 4" fiberglass cowl molded onto it (NO CRACKING at all around edging like alot of hack jobs)
Taillights recieved a black tint to clear coat ans sprayed over them to "black them out"
Weld 15x5 draglite front runners with like new tires, and Weld Draglite 15x10 with like new Hoosier 29x9 slicks (maybe 25 passes on them)

Interior:
Interior retro fitted from a 1998 firebird- dash, center console, and door panels
8 point roll cage good to 10.00 ET wise
8 Autometer Phantom guages- Volt, speedo, fuel, tach, water temp, tranny temp, oil psi, fuel psi.
B&M Pro Ratchet shifter
98 firebird buckeet seats
RJI 5 point racing harnesses
Kenwood CD player
JBL 10" subwoofers
2- Alpine amplifiers with built in cross overs
NX nitrous system 50hp-250hp (with all jets included) and psi guage on bottle so you can look down and monitor it

Drivetrain
TH400 built by Oldani Motorsports, JW transbrake and ALL JW internals, cast aluminum deep trans pan with temp sensor in pan,
Currently 8" BTE race convertor, anti ballon plate, CX stator, 4600 stall (street drives excellent with no heat build up) but will vary flash/stall point depending on engine output obviously, this one was used behind my 427sbc that made 575hp. I also have a 9" BTE pro mod convertor CX stator, anti ballon plates 5100 stall i used behind my 640hp pump gas sbc....i will send along the convertor that will best suit your future engine's power level and peak tq rpm.
Moser 9" Ford rear end with disc brakes i bought to be a direct bolt in
Jegster adjustible tq arm- car has been CONSISTANT 1.32X 60's with the 9" tires using a 150hp shot of nitrous 6 passes in a row
Wolfe Racecraft drag race anti roll bar (car leaves flat as a pancake and launches straight as an arrow with the front end in the air)- may need to be adjustied per drivers weight +/- heavier/lighter than my 200lb frame as 50lbs makes a HUGE difference as car will then pull to one side, but i can walk you through setting it up, very simple and takes only minutes
Strange center section with Richmond 4.11 pro gear, Richmond 31 spline full spool, Moser 31 spline axles
Front- Lakewood 90/10 drag struts and moroso BBC trick springs (dart block i ran is much heavier that stock OEM block), COMPLETELY rebuilt front end 3 yrs ago, all new tie rods, center links, ball joints, pitman arm, all new steel brake lines throughout and then braided steel brake lines to calipers front and back
Rear- Lakewood 50/50 drag shocks, stock springs, Spohn tubular lower control arms, stock panhard bar

Fuel system
Stock fuel tank that has been sumped, -8 bulkhead fitting installed on top of tank for return line fuel system
-10 line from sump to A1000 Aeromotive fuel pump
-10 from fuel pump to Rayco high flow fuel filter/water seperator (300GPH)
-10 from filter to A1000 regulator with -8 return line to fuel tank
-6 lines to each carb bowl
-10 line to nitrous fuel regulator
-4 line to nitrous fuel solenoid
Phontom guage mounted under cowl to monitor fuel psi on a pass, weather on motor or using nitrous it's ROCK SOLID where you preset it making a pass, and fuel syste was designed for longevity as well as racing

31x19 Howie aluminum radiator
Strange master cylinder (manual brakes)
MSD 6AL iginition box, MSD rpm launch controller inside car, MSD 3 step box, MSD start/1 stage ignition retard (i locked out my distributor and used it to pull timing on nitrous runs)

Serious offers only, email for more pictures- joshmeighan@yahoo.com , i have tons from the day i bought it and everything that's been done to it. Currently just has a small "back up motor in it" for cruising around since i've been running buddies cars the past few yrs, the engine is not mine so I will pull it prior to sale

For now until wife finds something, just seeing about having a lil savings reserve for better piece of mind. Then in the future either going with a used rail (cant afford or justify a new one) or heading to the dark side and putting a Chebbie drivetrain in a Rustang to get the 1000lb weight deduction/free speed

Bye bye, down the road...C-YA!!! She took a trip to New York earlier this year. All I have left is some assorted stuffI've been too lazy to put on fleabay or racing junk to sell, and the engine which is still in pieces up in MN. That shop is backlogged right now and I think all I'm going to end up doing is having the heads gone through and fixed again, get the Jessels all replaced/repaired and sell the entire head/intake as a package since it's all port matched...same with the carb spacer that was port matched to the intake as well. Then the short block has about 6 guy all laying claim to it if/when I go to sell it.

In the back of my mind though, I still have my uncles truck I could get back out, so I "may" just get this engine turned up a notch and then stick it into the S-10 for some high 8/low 9 second racing..but we'll see. As of now I'm still FAR too burnt out with the racing thing. I've gotten a few offers to run some cars, but I just dont have any desire at all to be on track..burnt myself out doing it every fricken weekend for over 12yrs...and mainly the expense that went along with it. (could've paid for my house twice, put the kid through college at today's price, and had 5 digits resting in an IRA)

So with wife losing her job, the fact her and my daughter were'nt as into racing as I was, and another child on the way...it was just time to let it go. If it's sitting there, I'll keep dumping money and still race every weekend, so with my personality, I had to get rid of it...just how I am, have a hard time letting sit just sit instead of using the toys for what they're meant to be used for. The kid up in NY got a steal on it and I just hope he actually uses the car instead of letting it sit idle in a barn somewhere.

Bright side, we have been doing a TON of family stuff this year for once, got the fishing boat out, bought another ski boat, fishing, traveling, playing on the water, going here/there/everywhere...making more memories than staring at the back of a grandstand or inside of the car hauler LOL!!
