its real clean and im gonna miss it but i need the money to finish my 1974 gto

its the 305 with factory rear gears. correct me if wrong but i think they are 2.83

i know i love the GTA but im on a mission to finish this project car as it has been too many years also i will im sure have another 3rd generation firebird/trans am/GTA. as they have always been my favorite . ive had 7 of them over the years...the 1991 GTA is my favorite!! for sure im going to go topless on the next one!!!

My advice is to keep it (if you can). Sorry I sold my 69 camaro back in 84, but I was young and poor (not rich now, just have better job), anyway 69 cams are rare and or very expensive. Had a 78 Trans and an 84 trans after that .... wish I had those cars too !

3rd gen beaters are slowly disappearing, dont see many out there. Most are beat and tore up. Well - half the fun is restoring them.

Nice car tho, best of luck - it'll sell.

Dude no offense but that GTA Finishes off the already Raped by GM last year '74 GTO that looks more like a Vega or Nova than Goat. I would have kept the GTA and tossed the GTO that 90% of the Muscle Car Guys don't want unless its a Big Block Quarter times Track only car.

i have a love for all things pontiac... i always said as a kid id own a GTO about ten years ago i got the 1974 GTO its odd it is the ginger stepchild of the GTOs i know but it is still a GTO. will i miss the GTA im sure but im sure ill get another 3rd gen bird ..
its cool to have a 1974 and a 2004 GTO

but one is American iron and the other is a rebadged Holden Aussie car. I have driven 2 and while they are quick they just don't seem like a Pontiac to me. and the shifter gates are so close together 2-4 gears are hard to tell apart Etc

where did you find your RPO code to verify it being a GTA? Just wondering cause I have the same thing but I can't find the RPO code for verification.

I would love to sell my 4th gen and buy this car, but shipping it to Texas would cost me about $1200 and then who knows how long my car would take to sell. Holidays are the worst time to sell a vehicle.

I still can't believe this car hasn't sold at this price in this condition.

7d4gto have you ever sold a car across the country? I am curious how we could work out something like that? I found a couple of shipping sites but not sure how you handle payment and title transfer. Or if anyone else would like to chime in that might have bought a car far from across the country.

i sold a car that went to florida but he took care of all the arrangements wired me the cash. and he set up a carrier to pick it up from my house.i dont know more than that ive driven to detroit. boston to pick up cars i kinda like the road trips

How did they wire you the money and how did you all handle the title transfer. I dont know how quickly you need to sell the car. I would love to see some undercarriage shots of the car and a walk around video of the car since I cant go in person to see it. I am willing to sell my 4th gen and if we can work something out purchase your car and have it shipped to me. Looks like it might be a bit of work for both of us but let me know if it seems worth it to you.
