Re: 1992 Formula 5.7 with CC1
Any interest in these cars? Getting ready to drop them on a dealer and let them have their markup. Both the 91 and 92 Formula 350, factory t top cars as pictured above are available....you don't have to do the "package deal"....let me know and thanks for looking. Figure $10K, for the 92 and $12K for the 91....the 91 has the 91 Bird license plate and the 92 has no front license plate in the picture.

How many miles are on the 91? Seeing this thread always gets the heart racing. Makes me wish I didn't have too many cars already. Kind of surprised that the auction route didn't pay off with either a winning bid or a serious buyer showing interest. Hope they don't end up overpriced and sitting at one of the Ebay dealer's forever.

Ct1987/Louis: Thanks for the kind words, yes, they are actually both gorgeous cars and yet here they sit. I really don't know why they sit, I've seen AMCs that were never very popular selling all over the place for stupid money and I can't seem to give these cars away....go figure.
Drew: I've always appreciated your knowledge on the board, I mostly just lurk. Yeah, I don't want them to go to a dealer either, but I've really tired of all the time I've wasted with people that are just curious versus interested in actually buying them. I've only had one person even come out to see the cars and he wanted the 92 immediately and then the wife got involved and it was a no go. But I must have responded to over 100 people via email, send photos, send videos, ridiculous questions regarding the most absurd things, and then poof, they are gone. I have moved a few of my other cars from my small collection of Firebirds through word of mouth, but all of those were under $10K and that is an easier market. I do regret selling my 92 Blue GTA a bit because that was such a pretty color.
BizJetTech: Each car has about 74,000 miles...they are within a couple hundred miles of each other. We've already gone back and forth with these cars back in March, even sent you a bunch of photos etc. Let me know if you need anything further, but the information I have already given you hasn't changed since we last corresponded, other than I've been driving them a bit here and there.

Re: 1992 Formula 5.7 with CC1
I have been looking at both these fine cars and as another member has said the market for Formula's is soft. Yes, it is a limited produced car & it is a attractive color. Though I find more people seem to be drawn to red. However, if you look at the auction house action.. Mecum, etc Formula's just don't get the love. GTA's bring this kind of money. When you add in the mileage [77k on the 91 is not low by collector standards] I believe you are looking under $10k as a realistic figure. Im not saying they are not worth more just what I think the market is... Or, you have to wait & find the right buyer.

Are these still available? I am interested in both.

Re: 1992 Formula 5.7 with CC1
Cars are no longer available. I've been able to make long term plans for the remainder of my small collection that hasn't already been sold, so what I currently have I'll keep and if they become available in the future, they'll likely be given to a dealer to sell. Thanks.

Fantastic looking cars. My dream cars are the '92 Formula, '90 Trans Am, and '89 TTA. If only more dreams came true than those that don't.
