I have an 87 Corvette Roadster I had for 10 years and have been wanting a 3rd gen to trade for. I have 2 kids and don't enjoy the car as I once used to since its a 2 seater. Anyhow I want a car that doesn't need paint and the interior is intact. It needs to be a clean car and in running condition. A t-top car would be a plus. Here are some pics... The interior pic is old and it has been restored the past 2 years now. The car has new tires, brakes, and shocks. It also has a new auto transmission put in 3 years ago with 12k miles on it now I believe. The engine has 117k miles on it and still runs strong. Borla Stinger exhaust as well as been added. Any questions.. let me know.

 

This is a clean car and would make someone happy who has always been interested in possibly owning a Corvette. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. again, I'm interested in a Formula mostly and would love to get a black Formula 350 with t tops if possible. However just show me what you have and we will see from there.

 

Here are some more pics. Everything in the interior is new from the steering wheel, door panels, door speaker covers, carpet, center console door, and dash trim pieces as well as the center gas & rpm lcd gauge. The emblems for front and rear are new as well.

don't let anybody on here think that this guy is wanting to trade this vette for a nice 3rd gen. he messaged me saying he wanted to trade his vette for my T/A,then after a couple e-mails,asks me for my car and money. so don't let him mislead you. not sure what this guy thinks that 87 vette is worth. not very much in todays economy. don't see too many people here wanting to give up a 3rd gen for it either..........

 

Well for what its worth.. I asked about your car and when you sent me pics... you said your car didn't have any rust. I could see rust in your engine bay. Second of all you didn't even clean up the interior of your car. For anyone wanting to seriously sell their car...they should clean it the best they can. You obviously didn't do that. So don't come on here and hijack my thread. Some class you got. I was being nice throughout the whole thing. Seems like you got a stick up your azz. Screw you and your car. And for anyone wanting to know what I'm talking about... Heres what he sent me for pics of his interior and engine bay. Now you know why I asked for cash as well.

 

you are the one that messaged me pal,not the other way around. i seen the pics of your vette in the wanted section,i wouldn't have offered you my car for yours. who sent who the message? secondly look at the pics of your car,leather all in pieces,interior of your car looks worse than mine. and are you seriously talking about the light surface rust on the camber plates on the shock towers???? please dude. rust is holes and soft spots. not surface rust from use and driving. i would tell you to take a look under your car,and you would see the same road use surface rust under there on your frame. problem is,i am quite sure you have wal-mart rattle can painted the underside of your car much like you did your engine. (look at his pics folks,chevrolet didn't halloween paint the engine like that). i can clean,scrub,and rattle can paint everything on my car,and to me,looks like i am hiding something. my car is driven daily pal. if i want to half-*** and cover up crap i can do so, but then my car would look like........well,........yours.
oh don't worry about me hi-jacking your thread, i don't see people beating down your door to trade you out of your vette...............

 

You seem to have issues. I sent you an email asking about your car and a trade. You didn't seem interested but said your " ole lady" thought it was cute. And when I didn't respond to the pics you sent me.. you continued to send me more emails asking about why you haven't heard from me. Then you said that you are ready to do the deal, but yet you have another trade on the side. Yet you also stated that if I wasn't interested then you would move on. Well looks like you didn't and you are still here. You are just pissed about me asking for cash on the side for your car. Yes I did send you the message first. However, if you had at least cleaned up your interior with a little dirt devil and wiped down your engine, then maybe I wouldn't have asked. But since that didn't happen. Its time for you to move on. I had plenty of PM's asking about my car etc... I just didn't find one I liked yet. Have some class will you. Why don't you pull your skirt over your head and run along now ya hear?

 

not real sure what you are nitpicking my car about in the first place. the pics of your car are no different than mine. you posted pics of your car with ratty looking interior,and state that you have re-done the interior,that is no different than my car. the pics i sent and have posted are exactly how the car looked when i brought it home. ofcourse the car is cleaned up now,that was how it looked 2 months ago. and i drive the car,not a sunny day,garaged from the elements car,but rain or shine,sitting outside. i appoligize if my car wasn't presentable enough to suit you. if the difference in you asking for cash plus my car was the reason you stated above,by all means,you could have just said you wanted my car and $7.00 to cover a can of gunk,a couple cans of spray paint,and a use of the vacuum cleaner at the local car wash. so, sorry i ever responded to your message, good luck with your car,hope you find something you are looking for. have a nice day.
