Definately put me in for a set of Sub Frames.
I may also entertain a set of adjustable LCA's, according to final price.

One question: Does any one know if the LCA's, with the spherical rod ends type on one end, are noisy?

Second question: I have heard that it is cheeper to purchase these products from UMI on eBay than a group purchase - ?

Currently yes, because the shipping is less through eBay. So 10% off + cheaper shipping equals about a 21% discount which is better then the 15% off group purchase price with a higher shipping price (if they give us the same shipping prices as their website). I don't know if this situation will still be true in January once their 10% off sale is over. Hopefully they also give us the eBay shipping price and 15% off for the group purchase.

Maybe you should phone for yourself about the shipping costs before you believe what jaimegmr is saying.

Never heard of Jaimegmr. I actually called to order a set of LCA's and found that they were cheeper on their eBay auction, so I purchased them there on eBay. They were discounted in price, and the shipping was even less. In this case I just thought it may have been a polite way of stating a fact.

So Tony maybe you could phone before accusing any one with out any facts. Once you get your information straight I'm sure you will agree.

That's very possibly true. As it could have been a warning that others can sometimes be wrong. I did some reading of the previous posts and found what Tony was speaking of - So now there are two of us with first hand knowledge.
So when we do get to the group buy we have a good base to compair it to.

Most (99%) every one on this site are really genuine good people, and we should strive to keep it that way. I have found in the past a couple rotten eggs selling junk here on TGO - So let's all keep an eye out for those also.

Many thanks, and Happy New year to all...

I'd be interested in a set of tubular non-adjustable LCA's.

FWIW: The shipping for me is cheaper going through UMI's site versus their ebay store.

Hello,

Yes it all depends, our site works with UPS so rates can change daily on there were as eBay we have fixed pricing depending on your zone. This makes it much easier for us on eBay and we like it that way. The prices may vary slightly but should all be pretty close with in a dollar or so.

Also we are now a site sponsor

If anyone has anymore questions please ask. I will be posting back soon with details on the GP.

Thanks!
Ryan

Will we be able to get shipping through USPS to Canada on this GP? UPS rapes us with there brokerage fees.

I asked Ryan this exact question and they can ship all items except the SFCs by USPS. "the SFC's can not ship USPS due to there size, the post office refuses them since they are over sized"

Where you located in Central AB?

I haven't been in on one yet either, but I believe the way it works is this. Once UMI is satisfied there are enough serious buyers they will post a code that you enter as a coupon when ordering from their site. The code will only be good for x number of days.

They have not posted a code yet, but I don't think it will be long.

How about an extra 2% discount for each day after the 15th that it takes to get the GP information? haha.

Matt,

I didn't see an order come through from you, did you use the site? I just want to make sure I don't miss any.

Thanks!

Thanks Giancarlo, your order has been received!

Matt- Please try again, for some reason it didn't go through. We are working on a new site now that will clear these issues but I don't think it will be completed before the GP ends.

Thanks again,
Ryan

Ryan- I think it worked this time, atleast it told me the order went through. By the way, is there anything in the works as far as a x-member mount torque arm goes. Your products are awesome but right now Spohn is the only one with a design I like. Are you guys workin on something I can look forward too as Id rather buy from you.

Matt, yes we got it that time. Thank you!

ACTUALLY our tunnel mounted torque arm for the 82-92 models is completed

We have just been to busy to get them pictured and added to the site, I actually have one member buying one under the GP now. The model we currently have available fits the 700R4, T5 and TH350 transmission. They are priced at $369.99 with out a loop and $399.99 with a front drive shaft loop. I will see if I can get some pictures posted soon so we can include these in the GP.

Thanks again!
